Our story of automation in the bakery

What started with a concrete challenge on the shop floor grew into a unique international specialisation. Founder Johan saw how time-consuming and quality-sensitive cutting a cream slice was: labour-intensive, inconsistent and physically demanding.

He thought: it has to be faster, more precise and easier. Today, we are the expert in automated solutions for processing puff pastry products - from compact slicers to complete production lines - with customers at home and abroad.

In the Netherlands, everyone knows the “tompouce”. The two crispy layers of puff pastry, the creamy filling and the shiny fondant top layer require delicate handling.

Where it started with ‘tompouces’ in the Netherlands, today we work with bakers from all over Europe. In Germany, our technology is used for Sahne Schnitte or Apfelstrudel, in England for cream slices and in France for Mille-Feuilles.
